GOLDBRICK GAMES INTRODUCES SKOSH, THE GO-TO PARTY GAME FOR 2015!

New Ipswich, NH (January 28, 2015) – What is the combined height of Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga and a 1966 Volkswagen Bus? What percentage of marriages begin with online relationships? What percentage of trick-or-treaters score more than 100 pieces of candy?

Even if you don’t know the answers, with Skosh, the closer you guess, the more points you’ll score. Goldbrick Games is pleased to announce the availability of Skosh, the new team-play party game that turns traditional trivia on its head.

“We think of Skosh as ‘trivia for the rest of us’,” said Goldbrick Games cofounder and Skosh creator Seth Blaine. “There’s a great mix of fun questions, all with numerical answers, that really energize conversation — questions that beg for a ballpark guess.”

In Skosh, a round begins with two opposing teams drawing four questions each, then strategically selecting two of those questions to pass to their opponents. After developing a guess for each question, teams take turns revealing their answers one at a time, using a scoring target on the card-back to determine points earned.

A simple tug-of-war scoring design, where teams pull each other away from opposing winner circles, adds an exciting tension to the game. It’s a short path in both directions, and with a couple of great guesses, either team can snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.

“Great games can help transform a fun night into one for the memory books,” said Blaine. “In this game the questions spark dialogue, the team-play is engaging, and the mechanics are playful. At its core, Skosh is a social game.”
